WildLink is a phenomenal scholarship program run by the Yosemite Institute. Qualifed students (many of which have never been to the mountains) are led on week-long backpacking trips into the Yosemite and Sequoia Kings Canyon backcountry. Wilderness ethics are taught and a deep appreciation for the environment is opened within each student. The trips are FREE for students thanks to generous donations from many sources.
