Wilderness Hikes

Some of the most spectacular scenery to be had in California can be found in the "Lands of Many Uses": our national forests. Even though the lands are less protected than national parks or wilderness areas, many great areas can be explored via foot OR jeep. You'd be surprised how many "secret" areas you'll find on theseheavily used back-roads.
