Geology trips with MJC have been very good to me. On my first trip in 2002 I met my wife, found a knack for photography, and fell in love with teaching geology. Since then I've been to Death Valley four times and just this summer completed a long, hot trip to the Colorado Plateau to see some of the oldest rocks in North America. Below you will find photographs & Google Earth links that document my travels through the great geology of the western US with my wife and Prof Garry Hayes of the MJC geology department. Garry's very interesting GeoTripper blog can be found
here.
