Snorkeling 4/23-29/11

Our snorkeling adventures at Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park (AKA The Place of Refuge). These photos were taken using a cheap waterproofing bag for our small, old Sony camera. We got some surprisingly decent photos!
The first few days of photos were a bit blurry as I got used to diving and taking pictures with an "inferior" camera. This fish is a Saddleback Wrasse.
Sea turtle.
Another view of the sea turtle.
Unicorn fish in the center frame.
Aloha! Probably 35 feet deep.
A neat view of the coral.
We saw an octopus on our first day!
Urchins burrowed nicely into the coral.
Mrs H gets ready to dive.
Smile! A self portrait and shameless plug for Snorkel Bob's.
Dunno the name of this one... it's not on our fish ID card.
Me again.
The corals were amazing!
Another day another sea turtle.
Very graceful swimmers, they are!
Zombie brains coral.
Our first good view of the Picasso Triggerfish, otherwise known as the humuhumunukunuku apu a'a.
