Day 6 started at the Dungeness River center. We were lucky enought to free several silver salmon.

Bob shows us his awesome water sampler that shows temperature and dissolved oxygen content. Salmon need a dissolved O2 content of 8 - 14 ppm.
Powell shows us how to measure & grade the size of cobbles for salmon habitat. His cobble was a bit too big to be good, so we gave it an OK rating.

8.97 seconds. We averaged the time to be about 10 seocnds, giving the river a speed of about 5.3mph in the faster ssection of the river.
