  20090811_high_emigrant_lake_0145.JPG - After returning to our camp at High Emigrant Lake, I went across the creek to the volcanics inthe Relief Peak Formation. My lens cap is 3.5" wide for scale. Once can really see the porphyritic (large crystals) hornblende minerals.
