| What started out as a daytrip to Leavitt Lake morphed into a trip to the Virginia Lakes after we discovered the Road to Leavitt was still closed. After pondering where to go, we decided on the Virginia Lakes since we had never been there before. I must say that we were all delightfully surprised by the scenery and easy access to the Hoover Wilderness. Since my dad was still nursing a two week old knee surgery he was able to fish the big lake from the shore while Laura sketched some scenery. I decided to head up the trail a bit to find better fishing. My mom and Mandy went all the way to Frog Lakes. This is definitely an area we’ll be coming back to visit in the future. |
