| Mandy's friend from France, Heloise, came to the west coast for a week. What better thing to do when in California than to take a whirlwind several day tour of the Sierras based out of Twain Harte. The centralized camp allowed us to go horsebacking 14 miles into the Emigrant WIlderness, and then rest our saddle sores the next day by driving to the major sites in Yosemite Valley. My dad and I finished the trip off with excellent fishing in the Stanislaus River. |
