| Ohh.. that's why it looked familiar. We were on top of Medicine Lake Shield Volcano, the largest in terms of volume in the Cascades. The gray blobs at top and center are glass and lava flows. The lake sits in the caldera. See my Lava Beds photos to get a grounds-eye view. | |
