Extra Credit FAQ’s

Q:  How can I get extra credit in Mr H’s Class?
A:  There are two ways to get extra credit.  

1. Go on an approved hike or adventure:
   Download & complete the associated extra credit worksheet using the links at right.  Turn-in the completed extra credit form to Mr H. within two weeks of your adventure's completion.
   At this time only the California State Mineral Museum has a unique worksheet and all other hikes have a general form for you to fill out. Make sure Mr H knows the adventure you're attempting in order to get his approval.
2. Test Corrections: Make an appointment to come in at lunch or after school to correct all wrong answers on a test within one week of recieving the test grade. You can use a book or your notes, but the corrections must be made using only your know-how. This means you can't have a friend "help you out".

Q: How much is the extra credit worth?
A: -California Mineral museum will get you 20% on lowest test.
- Adventures will boost your lowest test grade 10%
-Test corrections will raise that test's grade by 5%

Q: How much extra credit can I get?
A:- All tests may be corrected for the full 5% throughout the year.
-A maximum of three adventures per quarter will given extra credit.
